Day 60 - Wow, Two Months!

Good morning lovelies!
I cannot believe we are halfway through our week already!
Today marks two months since the start of this blog.
I wish I could have posted every single day, but with me being out of the country on a cruise in May, that could not happen. :(
I have made so many amazing new friends here, it is unbelievable.
This community is the best one I have ever been a part of.
The support I have received (and given!) here is just incredible.
Everyone here genuinely believes in you, and they are always willing to leave you notes of encouragement and hope, every single day.
That, my dears, is why I have not given up.
Because of you.
I have learned so many things here.
The most important things are that everyone has bad days; they happen, they are normal, they are a fact of life.
When you have a bad day, you cannot dwell on it and use it as an excuse to give up.
You have to use it as motivation to turn your attitude around and work even harder!
Another thing I learned is that positivity is crucial.
If you do not have a positive attitude toward life, you will not be able to go anywhere.
All you will do is dwell on the negative, which will draw you deeper and deeper into a hole.
Which is why I try so hard every day to be a positive example for all of you, in the hopes that maybe it will rub off, and help you gain an attitude that will inspire you to not only reach your goals, but, in the words of the lovely Camille "to make them your bitch"!
Every day is a new chance.
A new chance to try harder, a new chance to spread positivity, a new chance to say, "Hey, I believe in you, and I KNOW you can do this!"
Seize that opportunity like it is the last one you will ever get.
You only get one life, and it is what you make of it.
So make it something worth living!

**EDIT 7:37 pm** I had to share this before I forgot! We were eating dinner and my mom had already had 3/4 of a huge salad with peppers and pepperoni and cheese and ham in it, and she reaches for two slices of pizza. I was like, "You are really going to eat all that after you had that huge salad?" She said, "Oh, yeah, because I have an eating disorder, you know." My heart literally stopped. I thought she was going to say something about my eating habits, how she had caught on to my ED-NOS. But no, she started talking about compulsive overeating instead. Close call, much?

Food:
- 1/2 cup tortellini (+95 calories)
- 1 slice salami (+41 calories)
- 4 cheese cubes (+63 calories)
- 1 graham cracker (+70 calories)
- 1 tbsp. peanut butter (+95 calories)
- 2 pieces pepperoni pizza (+362 calories)
- 1 sugar free cherry Jell-O (+10 calories)
- 1 piece pepperoni pizza (+181 calories)
Total: 917/1,168 calories [I flip flopped the calorie targets for today and Friday, so that I could have more calories for the weekend; I am going to start doing that every week]

Water: 32/72 fl. oz.

Exercise: 150 twisting crunches, 150 regular crunches, 150 jackknives, 100 reverse dumbbell curls, 100 regular dumbbell curls, 100 dumbbell flies [each arm], 50 regular pushups

  3. You've lost over 35 pounds in two months! That's more than a pound every other day! What a freaking accomplishment, girl!!!

    Thanks for doing my little challenge, I think it's important that we all support each other and make everyone feel welcome. A lot of people are insecure about their weight and use their blogs to let out their feelings. So it's nice for them to know that they're accepted no matter what!

    Good idea on switching your calories around. I would want more cals to burn on a friday night too. lol.

    HOW TO DO TABS:

    1. Click "new post".
    2. At the top of the page, you'll see tabs. One of them says "Edit Pages" or "New Page" or something. click that.
    3. Create your page!
    4. If it's still not showing up on your blog, click on "Design" and you might have to add the widget to put your tabs at the top of your page. :)))

    I hope that wasn't too confusing lol
