So sorry I did not blog earlier than this, I have been going and going and going all day!
It has been a very good day indeed, despite the fact that I have my period. >.<
Jen and I went to the hospital today to get the loose ends tied up for our volunteer work that we plan to do there this summer.
We got to introduce ourselves to the patients and take a tour of the unit.
Everyone was super nice and they loved Jen! :)
Oooh, but that is not the best part.
I passed the test to get my driver's permit (again!)
I am ashamed to say this is my fourth permit in about six years.
But, ya know, it is not as easy to drive when you have a disability.
Which is why my car has hand controls installed.
That way, my feet do not have to worry about doing any of the work.
My feet are very touchy.
That is how I got into an accident when I was 16; lead foot.
THIS IS MY LAST DRIVER'S PERMIT I SWEAR!
I did not even have to answer all the questions; the test stopped when I got a 75%, which was nice. :)
They gave me a nifty horizontal permit, since I am over 21 now.
Oh, and I got a haircut today too.
That made my boyfriend sad.
He thinks I look pretty with long hair.
I told him I am going to grow my hair out when I hit my goal weight.
I do not think long hair suits me when I am heavy.
He wants to grow his own hair out.
I absolutely do not want him to.
My brutally honest opinion?
He cannot pull off long hair AT ALL.
He looks like a freakin' hobo/grunge dude.
NOT MY TYPE.
He looks a lot hotter with it short. :)
He says it may happen, it may not.
I guess we will see.
I am not feeling well today. :(
I do not think I am going to be exercising tonight.
Good thing this was one of my lowest calorie days of the week.
Hope you are all doing wonderfully!
Hang in there and stay strong lovelies! <3

I am terribly sorry for slacking off in commenting on your blog lately, I feel awful! : ( I absolutely love your dedication, you have a new lovely post everyday, your blog has both quantity and quality! Congrats on passing the drivers permit test!! I hope your boyfriend doesn't grow his hair out, maybe you two could compromise, you could grow yours out an inch or so, and he can promise not to grow his out too much. Your controls in your car look quite cool! Was the DMV very busy? My town's is extremely chaotic. I hope you have a wonderful day, stay strong, stay beautiful. <3
ReplyDeleteHahaha slovenly boys!! Love! I used to have a major thing for my boytoys to have long hair... but I grew up in a small white trash town so it was perfectly acceptable. I drew the line at mullets and rat tails I swear!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the permit! Do you have someone to take you out driving on the regular? So exciting, complete freedom, provided you have the funds for gas and insurance you can go anywhere your little heart desires. What a rush.
Be safe on the road miss! And keep your boy cleaned up, they're more sophisticated that way ;)
1. Love the new layout! Or... is it new or am I senile? lol.
ReplyDelete2. Congrats on renewing your learner's permit! It is pretty nifty finally having the awesome "adult" license. lol.
3. Love the car! I've always thought Saturns were soooo cute. So it's cool you were literally able to customize it for yourself. :)
Stay strong girly!
